but it's left a bloody taste just swishing round my mouth
like when i bit right through my lip and went down to the south

it was warm salt water washing every pit and crevice
my mouth tasted of salt but my brain it felt like lettuce
i was doing nothing just out pining for my past
i knew i had to die but i didn't know that it was cast
